Massage Therapy

Therapeutic massage is the manipulation of muscle and connective tissue to enhance the function of those tissues and promote relaxation and well-being. It can ease tension and reduce pain. Massage can also be highly effective for reducing the symptoms of arthritis, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, and other disorders of the muscles and/or nervous system.

Hello!

I am Dr. Lewis Blevins and I was born outside of Detroit, MI and moved to Illinois in 2007 to earn my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from National University of Health Sciences in 2010. I have been a chiropractor for 15 years and I have specialized in sports medicine, dry needling techniques, myofascial release, and Men’s and Women’s Health and Weight loss.

I have had the pleasure to work with many collegiate and professional athletes, including the Chicago Bears, Chicago Cubs, Atlanta Falcons, Indianapolis Colts, Iowa Barnstormers, NIU, and numerous other Division I college and local high school athletes. I have also worked with many men and women to aid in overall health and wellness, especially with the use of hormone therapy and medical weight loss.

When not caring for my patients, I can be found working out, especially with Kettlebells and on the Peleton or enjoying time with my wife (Kerri) and daughter (Chloe). We love traveling through the US and abroad, attending Wheaton Bible Church, and walking/playing with our dog (Darla).

I have an extreme passion for overall health and wellness in all aspects of life. I look forward to sharing all of my knowledge and walking with you on your journey of a healthy, pain free, more fit and energetic lifestyle.
